INSPIRATION: To play off of Mandy’s unique marigold yellow, draped textured dress, I wanted to give her an elevated look with a sleek, modern chignon that showed off her beautiful face.

TIPS/TECHNIQUE: To create Mandy’s low chignon, we started with clean, wet hair. I prepped her hair with a mixture of anti-frizz cream and styling gel, brushing everything through with an EcoHair Eco-Friendly Bamboo Detangler to distribute product from root to tip.

Next, I blew Mandy’s hair dry using the EcoHair Eco-Friendly Bamboo Paddle Brush, which smoothed strands without making her hair too flat or soft.

Once hair was fully dry, I created a clean center part using the CarboSilk Comb. I then added finishing paste along the part and used a blast of heat from the Ceramic + Ion Hair Dryer to keep flyaways down.

To ensure the base style was set, I ran the Ceramic + Ion Flat Iron over the top section of strands to keep them smooth while adding a boost of shine. Next, I gathered all of Mandy’s hair in the back and made four little ponytails, which I twisted and folded into place.

To keep everything sleek, I used the hair spray and the Style-Up Combo Teasing Brush (the hero product of this look) to lightly back-comb for additional volume..
