INSPIRATION: “We went with a very classic look for Gal tonight – a French twist. Gal is in a gorgeous couture Givenchy gown with a high neckline, accompanied by a large Tiffany diamond necklace, so we wanted to keep her hair sleek and off her neck to showcase the dress. She truly looks like a modern day princess with the classic dress silhouette and classic French twist.”

TIPS/TECHNIQUE: I started with Gal’s second day hair, using Dry Shampoo Wipes, I went along her hairline to refresh her hair before beginning to style. Next, I used the Ceramic + Ion Professional Hair Dryer to blow out the already dry hair, adding extra volume and lift to her second day hair with the Private Collection brushes.

Once blown out, I liberally sprayed Dry Conditioner throughout her hair to add shine. Since it is a humid day in LA, the dry conditioner keeps the cuticle closed and fights humidity while maintaining shine.

Next, I wanted to add a bit of volume, so I applied the Dry Shampoo at Gal’s roots and back combed for long lasting lift. I then gathered all of her hair into a classic French twist, securing the style with about 50 bobby pins.

To finish off the look, I coated a reusable mascara wand with Extra Hold Hairspray to tame flyaways, especially in front of the ears and at the nape of the neck, this kept the overall look super sleek.
